Firefighters Charitable Foundation

Fires and disasters are not uncommon in different parts of the globe. Lives are lost, property worth billions destroyed, and above all, families are lost or wiped out as a result of nature's fury. In these trying circumstances, the victims yearn for some kind of monetary or materialistic help from any quarters. Realizing the plight of fire and disaster victims, the Firefighters Charitable Foundation (FCF) was founded in 1991 by its president Frank Tepedino, who is himself a Firefighter in NYC Fire Dept. Located in New York, the Firefighters Charitable Foundation is a national not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides direct aid to victims of fire or disaster, other non-profit agencies, and volunteer fire departments.

FCF covers the costs of medical care, rehabilitation, housing, food, shelter, clothing, educational, and other emergency funds for the individuals affected by fire and disaster. The Firefighters Charitable Organization also provides financial assistance to the institutions or charities engaged in education programs on fire safety and burn prevention, supplying life saving equipment and supplies such as smoke or carbon monoxide detectors and Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs). In addition, Firefighters Charitable Foundation strongly supports Children's Burn Camps and Burn Hospitals, and the organizations providing some sort of assistance to fire or disaster victims. FCF also offers funds for the Voluntary Fire Departments for their special needs.

The Firefighters Charitable Foundation identifies the victims who are in dire need of assistance through volunteer brigade, volunteer fire departments, fire/disaster related charities and other organizations with similar outreach programs. The FCF also welcomes any kind of help anyone can render to further the aims and objectives of this thoughtful charitable organization. This may involve providing financial help through funding for victims, or even joining the volunteer brigade of the organization to lend logistical support to the cause promoted by this organization.

The Firefighters Charitable Foundation has a personal touch with its president serving in the NYC Fire Dept. and has seen all the destruction and tragedy that visits the families of fire and disaster victims. Even small amount of help to them could be life-changing and life-saving one. We might be luckier ones having saved from disasters but the not-so-lucky ones need all possible help from any quarter. So, any help in the form of donation is bound to have a positive impact on someone's life, and a contribution to a great cause.
